How To Be The Maker Of Your Relationship Destiny
Here’s an unconfirmed fact: 85% of all books about relationships, dating, soul-mates, couples communication and love (as well as dating coaching) are purchased by women.
This is because women tend to have the greater desire for knowledge about how to create and sustain a successful relationship than men do (though of course there are exceptions.)
It’s helpful to understand that in most cases women are the gatekeepers of a relationship, so complaining about what men should or shouldn’t be doing serves no purpose other than creating a lot of wasted energy.
Now I’ll let you on a little secret… men respond to instructions quite well (in other words, boundaries and guidance.) A woman who has established healthy boundaries, will rarely fall prey to the player, user or emotionally unavailable man. This is a woman who has claimed her worth and knows how to date with her head held high. So when she finds that guy who can accept guidance and inspiration, she will take someone who might first appear to be a Frog and turn him into a Prince…and quite possibly, a King in the future.
Men love to make their women happy. Most of the time, all that we need is a little instruction. However, this doesn’t mean that you try to parent him into an acceptable role but rather that you love him for who he is and happily support him in his personal growth journey.
While I certainly encourage high standards, don’t be so idealistic about them that you are expecting a ready made King. Keep your heart and mind open. Try to consider the average guy. Your diamond in the rough may be closer than you think.
When it comes to dating and relationships, men tend to buy books on one subject – how to meet women because that’s where most men struggle. But after that we have no clue what to do!
But the good news ladies is that you have a heads up because of your natural inclination to learn everything you can about the subject.
You play a major part in the fulfillment of your relationship destiny. Own the power you that you have and create the future that you desire.
