Is it because most women give their power away to men?
If the answer is yes, please please please stop and there is nothing wrong with you if a man doesn’t commit.
Commitment is a tricky conversation for most folks in mid-life because most men & women do not understand the mechanics of a healthy happy relationship.

I love that movie!

Darn, I can’t remember which movie I mentioned… can you remind me?
Linda Curtis says
Jonathon , yes, I love the ho’oponopono. I am finding these days that I need it more towards others in this era of what I’m calling “chemical warfare.” I just today at TJ Maxx asked the woman to please not spray the counters with chemicals because I’m just recovering from a horrible allergic reaction because of this practice. She said she had to but did. kindly. call her manager to see if she had another option. Well, the other option was send me to jewelry where the woman was able to be a little less strict. I explained that I didn’t have my phone with me that has a picture my daughter took of the huge allergic reaction I had but that I would bring it in to show the manager. I told the woman I understood completely, did not in any way blame her or feel badly toward her. This is my life now. I told the woman in jewelry that I would just set the boots and socks on my porch for a few days and all would be good. This is why we have porches, and trunks in our cars, and most of all mail order! Why did I go shopping today? Well, yesterday poured, literally streams of water everywhere from my apartment to the car that I had to wade through, so I wanted some heavy, more waterproof, boots in case this is going to be a strange Oregon winter where instead of sprinkling every day we get deluges. All of that to say, forgiveness of ourselves and others is the absolute most important thing in life always.
I absolutely love “the roots to trust” – that IS the bottom line, so thanks so much for everything you said about this. I would write what relationship is but it would take you days to read what I wrote – LOL! Oh yes, consciously create! Yeah, you crack me up sometimes, too. thank you. Hollywood movie – Jonathon, I have to tell you every time you say this what comes to mind is Breakfast at Tiffany’s. There aren’t two more dysfunctional people than that, so in that respect we do create lives based on Hollywood movies! Thanks, Jonathon. I am not in the market for a relationship right now but I have to hear over and over your take on the whole masculine/feminine crap, so know that I have my cheerleader pom-poms waving to egg you on with educating women in such a profound way.
