Will He Want Something Serious From Our Casual Relationship?
Have you noticed a rise in casual relationships?
I have and I’ve even recorded a podcast a few months ago going into much greater detail as to why this is becoming the most common relationship of all… that’s right, casual relationships (for people over 40 years old) outnumber committed relationships (excluding marriage).
So, if you’re currently in a relationship with a guy, there’s a good chance it’s a casual relationship without any real destination for full-blown commitment and you might be wondering if your casual relationship can move into a serious relationship.
In today’s episode, we are going to explore the DEEPER conversation needed to determine if a casual relationship can shift into a relationship of more certainty to commitment.
Let’s talk about… Will He Want Something Serious From Our Casual Relationship?

Jonathon, this was so good, absolutely brilliant. I will be listening a few more times for sure, so thank you. I won’t write too much because you already know that the word “commitment” gives me the heebie-jeebies because of 30 total years of the worst imaginable marriage (2). I have to say, though, I absolutely love what you have now coined which is “co-creative partnership.” This I can buy into, brilliant phraseology. I’m not on dating sites but if I saw a man who said he wanted marriage I would do the, what is it “slide left” so fast my fingers would be on fire. I understand what you are saying, and know that you are amazing, but there might be women like me who have too much knowledge of men who will marry at the drop of the proverbial handkerchief. Because you are no doubt an amazing catch you might want to think about using some of your awesome phraseology that will peak every woman’s interest if only to find out exactly what it is you mean. I know, you’re the coach, not me – it’s just the woman in me, can’t help myself!!
