As a dating & relationship coach for over a decade, I’ve noticed that most humans are rather bad at the dating process from a place of choosing a good partner.
In fact, I believe that most people have poor skills when it comes to asking good deep interpersonal questions of one another, and most people who are dating talk at a rather surface level in my opinion.
Asking good questions is the bedrock of good factfinding skills because that’s what dating is… a fact-finding mission before entering into a relationship.

Jonathon, FYI a passion for watching the ground grow is NOT a silly question. Two weeks ago I planted a pot with purple basil and a pot with chives. Every day since then I have given those empty-looking pots a little bit of water and searched carefully for little beginnings of plants. Two days ago I saw little chive shoots and placed a tiny crystal in their midst and told them I loved them. Yesterday I saw a tiny purple basil shoot way to one side of the pot almost hidden under the lip of the pot. Today I moved that little baby over more towards the center and placed a tiny amethyst stone close to it. To say I am passionate about these little sparks of new life is a huge understatement. They daily will get my attention and love and passionate attention.
That’s cute…
